INAUGURATION OF THE INVESTJIGAWA COUNCIL

His Excellency the Governor of Jigawa State, Alhaji Muhammadu Badaru Abubakar (MON) mni on Thursday 23rd June 2022 inaugurated the newly appointed InvestJigawa council. The Chairman of the Council is His Excellency the Deputy Governor Mallam Umar Namadi, while the Vice Chairman is Dr. Muhammad Sagagi, a member of the Presidential Economic Advisory Council. SMALL CLAIMS COURT INAUGURATED IN JIGAWA STATE

The Small Claims Court (SCC) in Jigawa State has taken off. The court was established in November 2021 to resolve commercial disputes involving small claims of N1million and below within a short period of time. The goal is to reduce cost and time wastage in litigation for MSMEs especially. Over the past few months since its establishment, the court was equipped and a magistrate appointed to preside over its proceedings.
