JOINT BUSINESS RELATIONSHIP MEETING BETWEEN JIGAWA STATE OF NIGERIA AND ZINDER NIGER REPUBLIC HELD ON 11TH APRIL 2023
On the 11th of April 2023, InvestJigawa participated in a joint meeting organised by Jigawa State Ministry of Commerce, Industry, Cooperatives and Tourism in collaboration with Jigawa Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture, between business groups from Nigeria and Niger Republic. The meeting was a follow-up to the series of engagements between high-level delegations of Jigawa State and those from Zinder Niger Republic, during which MOUs were signed pledges for business support made. Some of the commitments pursued by Jigawa State government are measures to ensure the seamless and free movement of goods and services as well as infrastructure development along the Maigatari and Zinder routes, particularly around the Maigatari Export Processing Zone. Some of the major traders and producers that participated in the meeting include Dangote Group, BUA, Dankata Investment, Alhaji Salisu Sambajo, and Ammasco oil.
