INVESTJIGAWA PARTICIPATED IN THE PROJECT FAIR OF THE PILOT ZONE FOR IN-DEPTH COOPERATION AT THE 3RD CHINA-AFRICA TRADE EXPO HELD IN CHANGSHA CHINA

On June 30th, 2023, InvestJigawa, led by its Chairman, His Excellency Engineer Aminu Usman Gumel, the Deputy Governor of Jigawa State, along with esteemed participants including Alhaji Mohammed Bello Dutse, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, Cooperatives, and Tourism, and Alhaji Mukhtar Imam, the Managing Director of Jigawa State Solid Minerals Development Agency, had the privilege of actively participating in the project fair of the pilot zone for in-depth cooperation at the 3rd China-Africa Expo held in Changsha, China.

During this engaging event, fruitful discussions were held, leading to promising negotiations with three Chinese companies that expressed a keen interest in investing in Jigawa State. The participants included prominent figures such as Chinese Vice President Han Zheng, esteemed ministers from China and other African countries representing various sectors, including commerce, education, trade, tourism, mineral resources, and agriculture. Additionally, in attendance were the Vice President of CGGC (China Gezhouba Group Corporation), along with Ghana’s Minister of Commerce.

The presence of these distinguished individuals and entities at the project fair underscores the significance of the opportunities available in Jigawa State. The discussions held during the event highlighted the potential for mutually beneficial partnerships and investments that can contribute to the economic development of Jigawa State.
