INVESTJIGAWA HOSTS SECOND ANNUAL INVESTORS’ DINNER

On 12^th December 2023, InvestJigawa hosted its 2^nd Annual Investors’ dinner at the Banquet Hall, Government House Dutse. Attended by a diverse group of stakeholders – from the private sector, policy makers, to service providers, this year’s dinner was a testament to the power of partnership and collaboration. It provided a platform for dialogue, allowing InvestJigawa to bridge gaps between the private sector, policy makers, and service providers. Through these interactions, the agency aims to create an environment where ideas flourish, partnerships blossom, and innovation thrives.

Among dignitaries in attendance were His Excellency the Deputy Governor of Jigawa State, the Honourable Speaker of the House of Assembly, the Secretary to the State Government and His Royal Highness the Emir of Dutse. Notable investors present included the Chairman of Union Bank of Nigeria Plc. and Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority Mallam Farouk Gumel who is also the Chairman of WACOT Rice Limited, representatives from L&Z Integrated Farm, Comttaex Nigeria Limited, Matura Agro Resource, Great Northern Agribusiness, Amisec Limited, Silvex International Limited, and Caraway Africa Limited. Banks such as JAIZ and Guaranty Trust Bank and Federal Government agencies including Corporate Affairs Commission, the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission, the Nigerian Export Promotion Council, and Nigerian Export-Import Bank were also present.
