CELEBRATING PROFESSOR YAMUNA AMINU KANI
The Federal University Dutse Governing Council has approved the promotion of Dr. Yamuna to the rank of Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. For Professor Yamuna, this is the first of many firsts: She is the first female Consultant Gynaecologist from Jigawa State, the first female Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the state, the first female Professor produced by the Federal University Dutse, and also the first Professor in the Faculty of Clinical Sciences in the university. Today we celebrate Professor Yamuna Aminu Kani, the wife of our Agency’s erstwhile Secretary/Legal Adviser.
