2ND AUGUST 2023 WORKING VISIT TO NIGERIA EXPORT PROCESSING ZONES AUTHORITY (NEPZA) BY THE GOVERNOR OF JIGAWA STATE 

On 2nd August 2023, His Excellency the Executive Governor of Jigawa State Mallam Umar Namadi, paid a working visit to the Nigeria Export Processing Zones Authority (NEPZA). The Governor, accompanied by the Director General of InvestJigawa, Furera Isma Jumare and other Jigawa State Officials, met with the MD/CEO, Professor Adesoji Adesugba, and his team. Discussions centered on the need to resuscitate Maigatari Export Free Zone in Jigawa State.

MAIGATARI EXPORT PROCESSING ZONE (EPZ) LOADING…

On the 27th of July 2023, the Director General InvestJigawa, Furera Isma Jumare held an hours-long meeting at the Nigeria Export Processing Zones Authority (NEPZA) with the MD/CEO of the agency, Professor Adesoji Adesugba. The meeting centred on the need to return the Maigatari Export Processing Zone in Jigawa State to the full status of an EPZ. More engagement between NEPZA and Jigawa State government was agreed upon.

PUBLIC-PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT WITH COMTTRAEX NIGERIA LIMITED TO TRANSFORM JIGAWA STATE HIBISCUS VALUE CHAIN

Jigawa State Government and Comttraex Nigeria Limited signed a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) agreement on 19th April 2022. The collaboration aims to transform the hibiscus value chain in the state, making Jigawa a prominent hub for hibiscus production and processing in Nigeria.
