The Jigawa State Investment Promotion Agency delivered a presentation on globalization: implications for regional integration and sustainable development in Africa, at an interactive session with participants of the executive intelligence management course (EIMC) 16, of the National Institute for Security Studies (NISS) on Wednesday 2nd May 2023, at Ahmadu Bello Hall, State Secretariat Complex Dutse.

On 31st March 2023, InvestJigawa organised a stakeholder meeting in respect of the investment project of the Kadume Green Consortium’s project in Jigawa State. On the 11th of April 2023, InvestJigawa participated in a joint meeting organised by Jigawa State Ministry of Commerce, Industry, Cooperatives and Tourism in collaboration with Jigawa Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture, between business groups from Nigeria and Niger Republic. FCDO-LINKS VISITS INVESTJIGAWA
The FCDO-LINKS visit on 30th March, 2023 was to have a close out session with InvestJigawa’s team, as the programme is coming to an end soon. FCDO-LINKS was led by Andrew Thorburn the Team Lead. The Deputy Team Lead, Umar Muhammed, as well as Jafar Umar, were in attendance. INVESTJIGAWA RECEIVES NATIONAL ECONOMIC COUNCIL PROJECT MONITORING TEAM
The National Economic Council project monitoring team embarked on a two-day working visit to Jigawa State on the 27th & 28th of March 2023. JIGAWA STATE RANKS 2ND IN 2023 SUBNATIONAL EASE OF DOING BUSINESS REPORT RELEASED BY PRESIDENTIAL ENABLING BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT COUNCIL
Jigawa State has ranked 2nd in the 2023 Subnational EoDB report. This is the second Ease of Doing Business survey conducted by the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council. In the first report released in 2021, Jigawa State ranked 3rd. This means we have moved up one rank. This is to congratulate the people of Jigawa, the State Government and its Ease of Doing Business Steering Committee, and InvestJigawa - the EoDB secretariat.
